What We Offer
We offer our commercial, government, institutional, and industrial clients high quality electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services. We have successfully completed large contracts for commercial indoor and outdoor lighting systems, transit systems, installation of highway, street and bridge lighting systems, installation of emergency generators, stadiums and arenas, health care and commercial security systems. Other services include commercial and residential wiring renovation, installation of electrical distribution centers and switch boards.
NES works on new construction projects, renovations, service, and has extensive experience with underground installation for power and utility projects.
NES utilizes its agreement with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Locals #24, #26, and #70 to obtain qualified electricians. NES and John Young are licensed electrical contractors in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland. In addition, NES has the following certifications.
On May 24, 2019 NES was recertified in the District of Columbia in their “Local, Small and disadvantaged Business Program” (#LSDZ27354052022)
On January 31, 2019 NES was recertified with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s “DBE” Program (#DBE0002050)
On January 31, 2021 NES was recertified with Prince George’s County Government in their “MBBE” Program, (#34700-2016-2)
On November 14, 2019 NES was recertified with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Certification (#LD20261264)
On March 16, 2021 NES was recertified with the Maryland Department of Transportation Minority Business Enterprise Certification (#17-228)
